Coulee
"At the coulee we walked over to a place where the land art artist was waiting. We made land art and it was really fun." Hailey
"After we made land art, we had to deconstruct it and put everything back." Taylor
"Before we went to the coulee we cut out some fabric for some materials along with the natural materials in the coulee." Calvin
Math
"We went into groups and we picked four numbers and we had to add and subtract the numbers and see what the answer was." Allison
"We tried to find out what was wrong on the addition tables. There were things like they didn't equal the right number. We also had to try to find out patterns in another one." Isla
Art
"We were creating a 3D piece for Christmas and today we were starting to make 3D shapes so we could try to make out Christmas scenes." Charlie
"We could either make Christmas scene or a winter scene. After we made our scene we did our last little touches and then we had these papers with cubes, triangular prisms, pyramids and cones. Then we have to cut them out and fold them to make a background, like a miniature winter scene or Christmas." Maiara
Country and Provinces - Resources
"We are making new countries or provinces and we are looking at the natural resources. We talked about how you have cities near where natural resources are." Aria
"We were making our own countries with our partners. They couldn't be fantasy. We wrote about some resources and put them in our countries." Isaac
"The cities have to be near the resources. The landforms where the resources are have to be realistic, like you wouldn't have mining at a beach." Sam
Writing
"We made a story and we did questions that we couldn't answer. We tried to answer them for the story." Catherine
"We made a story and then we kind of paused for a bit. Then we asked some questions about the story. Then we had to go back and answer them." Gabrielle
