Social Studies

"We were either making a province our country. The grade 3s are making their own country and grade 4s are making their own province. We worked in different groups and it can't be fantasy, just a made up country." Charlie

"The grade 4s made provinces. We folded our page into two section, one for facts, flag and maybe our national animal and one for more facts about our province. The grade 3s did the same folding thing but they had to make a country which is bigger than a province. Both of us had to make up our own names and it didn't matter if it was a real word or fake." Isla

Math

"For math we did patterns and tables so we could know how many tooth picks there were in each box. We did some different ones." Allison

"We looked at decreasing and increasing patterns and we looked at shapes seeing what patterns there are." Ian

Coulee

"We worked on why the coulee was special to us. The grade 3s wrote what they heard that was special and the grade 4s wrote what they saw that was special." Calvin

"We went on a coulee walk and worked on our Land Acknowledgement for Remembrance Day and we wrote what we love about the coulee and why it is important to us." Tessa

Parts of Speech

"We learned some adjectives, verbs, nouns and adverbs. We wrote some Frayer models for each word." Son

"We had to write words that have juicy words in them and some of them were silly." Hailey

Art

"We coloured in a whole piece of paper with watercolours we let them dry and then we drew poppies and we cut it out." Catherine

"We are going to put the poppies on the wreath for Remembrance Day." Aria
