  • Word Work
    "We researched what metaphor and simile meant. We did a Frayer model and wrote down definition, characteristics, examples and non-examples." Gabrielle

    "A simile uses as or like and a metaphor doesn't. Ms. Cropper put 11 sentences on the board and we had to write down if it was a simile or metaphor and draw a picture to go with it." Charlie

    Math
    "We go to play some math games and we had a check-in on multiplication and we worked on multiplication." Son
    "The games we were playing were Place Value Bingo, Multiplication Bingo, Super Score and Crib." Catherine



    Science
    "So the grade 4s made paper out of paper. And we put them on some parchment paper and put that over some plastic wrap." Allison

    "The grade 3s put salt and water and mixed it until it dissolved and the next day they came and examined it and they all had crystals on them." Hailey



    Social Studies
    "We got in partners and we researched about regions in Canada, Alberta and other countries in the world. After that we could decorate with colours." Ian

    "For art we drew pictures in our visual journals about patterns in nature." Taylor

    "We drew pictures and after that we are going to try to make some patterns in the coulee that are from the pictures." Lunden
